Happy 100th post, my little bloggypoo

Hey peeps, guess what?? (Yes, I did just call you a sugar coated marshmallow. Take it as a compliment.) Anyways, THIS IS MY 100th POST!!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH----Hm, I feel like I'm not handling this as maturely as I could be. Maybe I should thank people? Okay, I'll do that:

I'd like to thank my readers most of all. And when I say "my readers", I hope it applies to more than three people, one of whom is most likely my mother. But if it doesn't, I want those two other people to know how much I really do love them. You hear that? I LOVE you. Okay, this is getting too mushy for me so I'll just continue on with my thank yous. I'd also like to thank my wonderful friends (Polythene Pam and Miss Mixie!), my family, and last--but not least--the academy! That's the Oscars stupid. Oh, right. Heh.

Speaking of the Oscars (smooth transition, right?), did you watch 'em? I did. :) And every time someone that I liked won, I would jump up, run across the room, and hug my cat. Now she's avoiding me.... I keep forgetting she hates being squeezed. I can just see her glaring at me now, meowing, "You know I'm not a tube of toothpaste."

I also have to say, I have a new celebrity obsession. Jean Dujardin is like my french Darren Criss. (Except he's married and nearly 40.)

Oops, I forgot this is supposed to be all about my 100th post accomplishment! Well, here's a picture I took in celebration:

That's my bro... He's so cute. <3

It's funny, while we took this photo, I was actually carrying him so he wouldn't get his socks wet outside. We may look happy, but the conversation we were having at the time went a little like this:

Me: OH MY GOD, YOU ARE SO FAT.
C-Dawg: Hey don't drop me!
Me: When did you get so heavy? YOU WEIGH LIKE A MILLION POUNDS.
C-Dawg: No, YOU WAY A MILLION POUNDS.
Me: FATTY.
C-Dawg: I hate this. I hate this. I hate this.
Me: Hey, you're not the one throwing out your back, FATSO.
C-Dawg: You're the fat one!
Me: No, you are.
C-Dawg: No, you are!
Me: AARRRGGHHHHH.

(It's funny cause my brother is actually like the skinniest kid on the planet.)

But really guys.... thank you so much for reading this! You make my day. :)

So my brother goes to this mega artsy school...

...and they're having a dance this friday!

Because they're so cool and artsy and all that stuff (want proof? Click here!) instead of buying a ticket or paying an admission fee, you have to buy a new pair of socks, and donate them to this special charity thing at the door! For kids who don't have socks, I guess. :( But despite the horrid thought of a child who can't afford a delicious pair of socks... isn't that cute?? I just love the idea, it's wonderful! You get to shop for socks, donate them to a kid in need, and then to top if off you spend the rest of the night gettin' your freak on! WOOOO. Dance partay and all that jazz.
Anywho, neither my mom, nor my little bro had time to pick up any snazzy socks, so I agreed to run by the mall after school (It's only a few blocks away from my bus stop.) I was kind of in a hurry and didn't have any time to really examine all the different socks throughout the mall, so I ended up just running into Forever 21 and hoping they'd happen to have a pair or two. I don't know why, I just don't see Forever 21 as a huge sock kind of store, you know? But they had some! And they were suppppeeerrr cute!!
Obviously, I ended up having to buy some for myself as well. Duhhh. But really, look at the state of my average sock:

Yeah.
Actually.... It's kind of cute. It looks like a miniature neon pink ghost or something, doesn't it? Kudos to my little bro for allowing me to stick his hand into one of my raggedy beat up socks. That's a mark of true love, right there.

And now here are the socks I bought at Forever 21!

Kites, apples and stripes!

And some close ups on les cerfs volants...

Et puis les pommes...

And this is a super cute trio of socks! Grey, light brown and orange. I know, these colors don't sound like they'd look good together, but trust me, they do. And they'll look so good with my oxford shoes!

Last but not least, black, yellow and white stripes! I'm very into stripes. :)

Now I just have to decide which ones to give to those sock-less children... Hmmm, suddenly I find myself resenting their lack of socks, as I really hate to choose between all these adorable patterns... WHY CAN'T THEY JUST WEAR SANDALS OR SOMETHING? Arrggghhhhhhhhhhhh. ;)

Love and chocolate graham crackers. Oh who am I kidding, they're the same thing!

HAPPY:

1) VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

OR...

2)  SINGLES AWARENESS DAY    (...........giggle.)

If that's your case, I really am sorry, but at least you're not alone! We're in the same boat! Feel better? No? NO? Hey, don't make me push you off. And in case you're thinking, "Pshh I WANT you to push me out of the boat because then I won't be single", well think again. I've given this whole metaphoric boat situation a lot of thinking and concluded that the couples are in another boat, so falling out of the singles boat will really just render you soggy and wet in addition to still being single.

SO, now that we've figured out this whole boat thing, how 'bout we take a little tour of the history behind Valentine's day? This holiday goes back thousand of years, originating-----JUST KIDDING. What do I look like? The back of a sappy restaurant menu? I don't think so.

You know, this was a pretty good Valentine's for me. Yes, I have no "gentleman caller" and yes, the guy I am interested in has a girlfriend...... but still! I think I have more friends this year than I've ever had before and we've all agreed to be each other's valentines! :) So really... It's all cool bro. I'm  not feeling down, like so many other people who are no doubt at home right now, moaning over their little lonesome selves. That's the one thing I really kind of hate about Valentine's... So many mopey singles. Ickk.

I wish I could cheer them up by inviting them all to my house! I got home to find out that my maman and C-Dawg have been working on a special Valentine's Day dinner!

Complete. With. Dessert.

What's so special about dessert that you have to devote a separate sentence to each individual word, like an idiot 8 year old? I'm glad you asked, italics me. You see.... The dessert involves whip cream and mashed up CHOCOLATE ANIMAL GRAHAM CRACKERS! RIGHT??? To be honest I don't know whether I should be excited, or rather guilty that I'll soon be feasting upon their pulverized carcasses....

After further reflection I've decided to be excited.

Now I'm gonna go lick the whip cream bowl. Because I am soooo cool.
I wish you all a very very very happy Valentine's Day!!! Whether you're hopelessly in love (That shiver you felt in the time space continuum was me rolling my eyes, fyi.) or planning to spend the evening making small talk with your teddy bear across a bowl of spaghetti, I LOVE YOU FOR READING THIS, am certain that you too shall have a fabulous day, and ask you, dear reader... would you like to be my Valentine?

One Spectacular Saturday of Shopping

I had a pretty great day yesterday. After spending quite a bit of time sitting around, watching Netflix and looking at pictures on Tumblr, I finally went out with my dad and my little bro. We meant to see this movie that was part of this international film festival going on for the next few weeks, but we ended up getting there too late and finding that all the tickets were sold out. That doesn't sound great, but it was.
Because we had missed it, but were already out, we decided to go to some of the super cool stores that happened to be on that same street. And we ended up seeing the movie later that night. Anywho, the first was this crazy awesome vintage/really-cool-old-stuff store where I got the COOLEST GLOVES IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. They're a dark navy blue leather with white and red racing stripes going up one of the fingers. They're sooo soft, AND they're thin enough that I can still ride a bike or operate a camera! They are my dream gloves. And they fit me perfectly too! I also bought my brother this old Wallace and Gromit shirt. It's from the movie with the homicidal penguin disguised as a chicken! :) Which happens to be one of our favorite W&G movies.
After purchasing our super awesome gloves and t-shirt, we decided to pop in at another one of our favorite stores on the street. It's called "Really Good Stuff", but we just call it the Junk store, because that's essentially what it is. A store absolutely jam-packed with nothing but useless crap. Or so you'd think at first glance. But remember: one man's junk is just another man's treasure! Or at least another man's slightly more valued junk that his wife resents and tries to dump at Goodwill when her husband's not looking. That's sort of the case with us. Although I'm usually the one buying most of the junk.
But really, this store is cool and you can find incredibly awesome stuff when you're looking hard enough. Which is exactly what I did on this trip and it totally payed off. Just as we were leaving, a glorious thing caught my eye. An old, vintage Michael Jackson doll!!!! Dressed in his Thriller outfit! Luckily for me, the box was in pretty bad condition so he couldn't sell it to me for a high price. I got it for just $20 and it's fantastic. I looked him up online and it turns out they also made other outfits, like the clothes he wore from Billy Jean and Beat It! In fact... heh... I kind of want to go on Ebay and buy some...

But anyways, to show you how great my gloves and little MJ are, I had my brother put on his Thriller outfit and we did a little photo shoot! Check it out!

Here is my new MJ doll:

And some pics of just my adorable little brother:

And here are the gloves!

I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but my brother is a dancer. His Michael Jackson impersonation is great, and he's got all the dance moves down cold! Since we're both so into MJ, I'm sharing my doll--ACTION FIGURE--with him. :)

So did you guys have a good Saturday? Tell me about it!

A thoroughly random interaction with my brother.

I am sitting at my computer, editing photos, listening to Blondie and eating some of the BEST sausage my tastebuds have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I have to tell you I'm normally not a big sausage fan, so this is kind of a big deal for me.
Hmmmm what else do I have to blog about right now??? I don't know... I've been having quite a lot of trouble blogging lately. My life just feels very uneventful. Okay, I guess I'll share with you a conversation I had with my brother this morning. The following dialogue took place after a petty argument that I can't remember any more. It must also be noted that my brother is a huge germaphobe.

Me: Okay C-Dawg, you know what? Just for that, I'm gonna drink DIRECTLY FROM THIS BOTTLE OF JUICE. And then no one else will be able to drink it for fear of catching my cooties.
C-Dawg: YOU WOULDN'T.
Me: Ohhh yes I would. In fact, I WILL.
C-Dawg: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
C-Dawg lunges for the bottle of juice but misses. We scrabble around, fighting over the juice.
Me: MUAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm gonna do it. No glass or anything! Just me and this COMMUNITY juice bottle.
C-Dawg: NO! NONONONONO!
Me: YES.
C-Dawg: NO!
Me: YEESSS.
C-Dawg: NOOO! DAAAAD---wait a minute... I don't even like cranberry juice. Nobody likes cranberry juice.
Me: That took you much longer than I expected.
C-Dawg: ....
Me: *drinks from juice bottle and walks away*
C-Dawg: ....

So yes. That was a random little nugget of my morning for you to enjoy. Thank you for letting me waste a whole 30 seconds of your life. I truly appreciate it.

Kids are so awesome.

I took this picture at the playground of C Dawg's middle school...

Middle school graffiti really is the best form of entertainment.

Throw pillows and little brothers really are pretty cool.

Yesterday, as I've mentioned, was the last day of my finals. And I actually got out at lunch time since I didn't have any make up finals to do!
This posed a problem though, because I couldn't decide what to do with the rest of my day. Two different groups that I am friends with asked me to go out to lunch with them, but in the end I decided I wanted to spend it with my dear maman... Yes, I am a mama's girl. I know, it baffled my friends as well, but it's the truth!
Anyways, my maman and I decided to go to 23rd to go... SHOPPING. YES. We went to Urban Outfitters, and actually ended up staying there for probably over an hour, there was just so much awesome stuff on sale!! That's what I love about UO, they always have great stuff on sale. On this trip I got a ton of super duper awesome stuff that I will definitely be blogging about, but for this post, I think I am going to talk about my new throw pillows. Sounds lame but think about it: all the bedroom accessories at UO are AMAZING and SPLENDIFEROUS.
So to share them with you in all their glorious splendor, I decided to do a photo shoot with my brother. The result was a collection of super awesome UO throw pillow ads featuring an incredibly adorable little C Dawg. Enjoy!!

This first one is sooo sweet. The front is a flowery lace over gold sequins with a yummy mocha colored back... :)

This one is a little more crazy and eye catching, with beautiful, colorful zigzagging sequins and a bright red back! I loooove it!

And together they are the bomb diggity. Although you have to admit, the best part about all these photos is the cute kid holding the pillows. Honestly, I really think my brother would make a great model. He's super expressive, really creative, and crazy photogenic. I'm very jealous of that last part because unfortunately I do NOT photograph well... I think maybe one in every hundred photos of me is sort of okay. And this little guy... I have trouble deciding which photos to use because they're all so good!!! AHHHHH SO MUCH LOVE. ....For the pillows of course. Brothers are stupid. Pshhhaw.

Cats and friends and seatbelts. We're going to cover a lot today.

Hello friends! Or acquaintances... (I guess I don't know you all too well.) Oh what the hell, let's just be amigos! We'll see where this crazy friend-SHIP takes us! Gosh, I hope we don't hit an ICEBERG. AHAHAHAhahahahahaaaa I am just sooo funny...

Moving. On.

I am very happy and very sad. Want to know why? First off, I'm very happy because I have a bunch of friends all visiting right now from various places out of town, which makes me all smiley. (Polethene Pam, Miss Mixie, the glorious sister of Miss Mixie) :) I am sad, because one of these aforementioned friends (Miss Mixie) is terribly ill with suspected food poisoning... :( I feel so sad that she's all sick and icky feeling while she's supposed to be enjoying her vacation!! You know in the Peter Pan movie when tinker bell gets poisoned and everybody claps really hard at the same time and thus render her healthy and glowing again (still don't understand the science behind that btdubs)? Well I figure our dear Miss Mixie is quite an awful lot like a sparkly, flying fairy thingy herself, so perhaps if we all clap really hard, she might just get better? So clap, my minions, CLAP YOUR HANDS!! This is totally going to work.

Now that I've shared with you my ingenious plan to restore Miss Mixie to perfect health, I'm going to share some stuff with you! First off, an adorable cat picture. Because I am a very original blogger who posts very original material. I mean, please, name one other blogger who posts cute cat photos! I dare you. Bet you $5 you won't find one. Oh. Oh, really? You found one? Well I guess I owe you $5...... What a surprise.

Anyways, here's the photo:

Heehee. I took this pic of a cut out magazine picture that was hanging on the wall in this really cool barbershop. Miss Mixie's sister got her hair dyed today (AHH!!! :D) and I was chillin' out with her while she got it done. We got it done at the "original rock & roll barbershop" which is this super cool place only a few blocks from my house. It has magazine clippings and stickers and stuff literally plastering the walls and it's super cool. So yeah. That's the explanation behind my discovery of this adorableness.

The next thing I wanted to share with you is the purchase I made earlier this same day. It. Is. Spectacular. I probably haven't mentioned this before, but lately I have sorely needed a fun, casual belt. I probably have mentioned my love of dinosaurs. Yes, now that I think of it, yes I have. Well today... I found the greatest belt in the whole wide world. Or at least a pretty cool one.
Feast your eyes upon it's glory:

Since you can sort of see it, do you like my shirt? :) My brother gave it to me for Christmas. <3

IT'S A SEAT BELT. COVERED IN DINOSAURS. IN PRIMARY COLORS! <3 I just love it so much! And it's super adjustable and comfy and awesome. While it holds up my pants quite well, it really knocks of my socks if you know what I mean...

Now it's super late, so I best be going. I've got SO MUCH to do and break is fast coming to a close, so it's best that I get my sleep. Don't forget to clap for my poor, sick Mixie! Pozegnanie!

Mix Tape #8: HOLIDAY HOOPLA!

Yesss.... Christmas music. THIS. IS. HAPPENING.
It may be terribly cheesy, but one of my favorite parts of Christmas is the music. Since I've listened to it every Christmas since before I can remember, it's become a very important part of the season for me. So I just have to make a quick mix about it! Especially since it's Christmas Eve. Again, sorry if you don't celebrate the holiday, but I think you can still enjoy the music! I prefer songs that are happy and santa clausy and capture the feel of the holiday, not the religious aspect of it. For me, the season is really more about celebrating family, friends and SUGAR. But that's just me, to each his own!
Anyways, let's return to the music. I think anybody who listens to Christmas music know the Christmas classics. When you're making a Christmas mix tape, the question really isn't "which songs do I include?" but rather "which artists?" So I'm including my favorite artist for each song straight up, then explaining my decision in the little narration thingy. Okay, are you ready? Let's go!

1. "The Christmas Song" by Frank Sinatra
I think this song is just a Christmas classic. I actually got into a really funny argument about it the other day with a couple people. Two of my friends, who we shall call Chuck and Irene, were convinced that the song went "Jack Frost BITING at your TOES", when in reality it goes "Jack Frost NIPPING at your NOSE". During this argument, I actually exclaimed the phrase, "CHUCK, WHY ON EARTH WOULD HE NIP AT YOUR TOES WHEN YOUR NOSE IS FULLY EXPOSED??" Say it out loud, it's a pretty funny sentence. AAAHhhhh but I'm getting off topic. Let's get back to the song. It's a classic, and therefore recorded many, many, many times by lots and lots of different people, from Justin Bieber all the way to Ella Fitzgerald. But my personal favorite is Frank Sinatra's. I mean, he's Frank Sinatra! A classic, singing a classic. Perfect.

2. "White Christmas" by Elvis Presley
Also, a classic. Argh who am I kidding these are all classics! This one has also been recorded by loads of musicians, but my personal favorite is the version by none other than the king of rock n roll himself... Mr. Elvis Presley. He just puts this whole new spin on the song, but makes it sound so natural and... perfect! This song just makes me fall in love with the king over and over... :) You should check it out if you haven't heard it before. It's really good.

3. "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by James Taylor ft. Natalie Cole
I LOVE this song so so so much. It's my favorite duet. Not Christmas duet. Duet. PERIOD. I just love it. It's so cute and fun to sing and just awesome. I love this version because I just love James Taylor's voice. It's so different and relaxing and gorgeous. And the two are so cute in the song! They talk a little in between verses and it's actually pretty funny. I love how he says the last sentence at the end, "It is a PERFECTLY NICE DRINK." Really. Listen, you'll see. But umm.. I have a confession. As you may know my celebrity crush is Darren Criss and I have to admit I really love his and Chris Colfer's version from Glee. There, I said it. I feel like such a teenager. But it really is good and I like it. So deal. :)

4. "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey
Again, there are quite a few covers of this song but I really think that in this case, the original is the very best. Mariah Carey does such a great job with this song and it always makes me feel so cheery and smiley. I really never pay any attention to the other versions 'cuz I like this one so much more. How about you?

5. "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" by Jackson 5
I have to say, this is one weird song. I mean, I love it, but it's pretty messed up. I guess it's supposed to be about this kid who sees his mom kissing Santa and then decides to go taddle to his daddy, not realizing that it was in fact this very same parental unit who was dressed up as Santa. But this doesn't make any sense! Why would the dad dress up as Santa? Maybe because he knew his nosy little kid would be spying on the stocking-filling process? But then why would he go kiss his wife if he knew the kid was watching?!?! Why would you want to wish such a traumatic experience onto your tiny child? And let's remember, this wasn't only kissing. It was kissing and TICKLING. Ewwww parent PDA. So to sum up: either the parents know the kid's there and want him to spend the next 10 years in intensive therapy, OR the dad just enjoys waking up in the middle of the night to dress up like Santa Claus. Both explanations are pretty creepy. But never the less, this song is best when it's being sung by little Michael Jackson. :) It's perfect because in the recording he's actually at the perfect age for this song, instead of an adult creepily trying to sound like a kid. So yeah. The Jackson 5 version is my favorite. :)

6. "Winter Wonderland" by Bing Crosby
I figured I ought to include a Bing Crosby song, since he kind of is one of the big Christmas music classics. I really like his version of Winter Wonderland, so that's the one I'm including here. Fun Fact: the Eurythmics did a pretty cool cover of this song if you're interested.

7. "Santa Baby" by Eartha Kitt
Okay, I have heard SO MANY versions of this song, but I can't stand any of them. Not even Madonna's. Because Eartha Kitt's is the best. Man, I feel like such a Christmas song nerd. But that's my stand on this song. There's simply no competition. She captures the essence of it all, but she doesn't overdue it. And her voice is just so perfect for it! In fact... I'm gonna go listen to it... "I really do believe in you.. Let's see if you.. believe in meeee..." :D

8. "Tennessee Christmas" by Amy Grant
This is my mom's absolute favorite Christmas song (even though we don't live in Tennessee). And I can definitely see why. It's so sweet and tender and Christmas-y.... And Amy Grant's voice is just a dream. I just love it! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzzy. And I can't resist the phrase "tender Tennessee Christmas". What can I say, I'm a sucker for alliteration.

So there ya go! I realize this is a little late, seeing as it's already Christmas eve, but I hope you enjoy it anyhow. And besides, I don't really think the Christmas music's got to end the day after Christmas! It doesn't, does it? Maybe I'm just nuts. Ohhh well. Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you get everything you wished for!! If you didn't, come talk to me. I've got connections up at the North Pole (I used to do Santa's dry cleaning. SO. MANY. COOKIE CRUMBS.)

The Christmas Song (Frank Sinatra)
White Christmas (Elvis Presley)
Baby, It's Cold Outside (James Taylor ft. Natalie Cole)
All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey)
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus (Jackson 5)
Winter Wonderland (Bing Crosby)
Santa Baby (Eartha Kit)
Tennessee Christmas (Amy Grant)

Getting into the Christmas Spirit

Guess what guys?? I'm eating delicious mexican meatball soup! And mango juice! And it's super sunny outside! All in all this is turning out to be a very unconventional pre-Christmas period. Usually by now, it's dreary and cold and grey outside (sounds depressing but at Christmas time there's something rather magical about horrible weather) and I'd be drinking egg nog and eating all my maman's carefully cooked candy... (Ahaha... inadvertant alliteration is fun. :D) I feel sort of like I need to go do something holiday-ish just to rectify all this weirdness.
Maybe I could eat some holiday goodies? Nahhhhhh. Mango juice and meatball soup are too yummy. Maybe put on some holiday getup? Hell no. The only holiday wear I have in my closet right now is a dreadful button down sweater from about 5 years ago. It has a snowman on it that looks like he's been pulled straight out of Coraline and I'm not ashamed to say he kind of terrifies me. Hmmmmmm. What to do! WAIT. I GOT IT.

SHOPPING. That'll get me in the spirit!

....Wow. I think I'm supposed to feel bad that for me Christmas = shopping. Don't all those Christmas movies usually end with the "Christmas isn't about presents and material goods... it's about love and friends and family!" lecture? Apparently I haven't soaked up any of that moral lesson. I'm such a bad sponge. :( But really, Christmas isn't about presents? Obviously nobody's told Santa about this.

OH MY GOODNESS. My dad just informed me that he's giving the rest of our meatball soup away to some sick lady! Giving away my soup to the less fortunate?? AT CHRISTMAS? The nerve.

...

Hm. I really do have a problem here.

WARPAINT BEAUTY

AAAAAAAAaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh....... It feels good to be back! I feel like I've been gone for months and months and months! Though I realize it's been barely over a week.... Time just goes so slowly when you're not blogging. :(
Not that these past weeks haven't been SPLENDIFEROUS! My play is finally over, which makes me happy and sad and nostalgic all at once... I'll miss seeing all my play peoples everyday but at the same time, it'll be nice to have some time to myself!
Gahhh I'm so tired! I keep losing my train of thought. :P I went to this big cast and crew party thing Saturday night that was awesome and hilarious but I didn't get all that much sleep... Hooo hummm.

Anyways, in this post I thought I'd share one of my latest obsessions with you. :D I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I am a big fan of the store "Hot Topic". I know, I know, it's sort of weirdly gothish and does sometimes carry Justin Beiber as well as Twilight products, but it's pretty inexpensive and it has some really awesome stuff in it! It is, for example, a great place to find makeup that's not only of good quality, but a good price range! The last time I went, I discovered this great new makeup line called "WARPAINT BEAUTY" exclusive to Hot Topic. Btw, if you're a guy, you might just want to leave cuz this is gonna be ALLLL about makeup. I'll try to make a more masculine post next time...
So continuing on with WARPAINT BEAUTY (I don't know why I'm writing it in capital letters...), it is an awesome line with really great eyeliner, and lip gloss, and eye shadow.... (among other things). On my first trip of discovery, I bought two things of liquid eyeliner and two shimmer eye shadows. The liquid eyeliners I got were "Electro Blue" and "Monster". Electro Blue is crazy bright and blue and beautiful... and Monster is this sort of rainbow glitter. I swear, it's the most sparkly eyeliner I have EVER seen! It just makes me so happy...
They both go on like a dream as well. Smooooth and clean and bright and perfect! The eye shadow is great too, all sparkly and smoky and great. :) So I went online during a big sale and bought myself some more... A lot more. Hey, don't look at me like that! I hardly own any makeup! Don't. Judge. Me.
Anyways, I thought I'd share some of the stuff I bought on my second round of shoppin', with y'all! Enjoy!

Here is some gorgeous nail polish. You can't really see the color very well because the lighting is sort of funky, but the color looks just like a sparkly, star filled, purple-blue night sky! It's called, appropriately enough, "Galaxy". :)

Here are the three lip glosses that I bought. I am actually seriously impressed by them... They come on all shiny and glossy, like a shimmery lip gloss, but they have just as much color as a heavy lipstick. Which I have never found before. The colors I got are: "Hot Mess" (a bright cherry red-orange), "Medium Rare" (a deep medium rare steak color) and "Grimace" (a super purty light purple plum).

These are the two liquid eyeliners I bought. I don't know if you can tell what color they are, but one is a gorgeous, metallic silver color, and one is a super pretty dinosaur green!! They are called... ummm... "Chromeo" and "T. Rex" (<3<3<3).

These are two eye pencils that I bought. I have to say I prefer liquid eyeliner over pencils, but I think it's good to have a selection of both. The colors I got were "Disco Ball" (a sparkly silver) and "Perfect Storm" (a sparkly purple).

I only got one eye shadow, not quite sure why... The one I got though, is really lovely. It's a discretely shimmering, rusty-gold. It's called "Rich Bitch" which I think is really a perfect name. The whole line has awesome names for all their different shades.

I also got a fragrance called "Indie". I realize buying perfumes online is sort of ridiculous since you can't smell them, but I decided to take a shot in the dark and it payed of! The perfume is this yummy smell of sweet vanilla and sugar cookies and cream... It's just delicious. And my mom loves it too, she says it reminds her of some part of her childhood, but she can't quite tell what.

So basically, WARPAINT BEAUTY is kind of the greatest makeup line ever... I really want to take some pictures of it actually applied to my face later, but I don't have time right now. Maybe I'll make a WARPAINT BEAUTY part two! Sorry Mr. Dudes. I'll try to do a post about NASCAR or Megan Fox later, just to even it out. Ha, psych. Like that's gonna happen.

OH, and special thanks to my little bro! I forced him to lend me his hands for the makeup photos, and I really appreciated all his reluctant semi-cooperation. Thanks C-Dawg!

Anywho, I highly recommend that you go out and buy yourself some fabulous WARPAINT BEAUTY. Well, if you're a girl that is. ...Nah, if you're a guy too. It's just that awesome.

In which you get to meet my brother! Isn't he great??

So... don't judge me but... my Phineas and Ferb movie just ended annnndddd I'm watching it again. :D Hey I missed the beginning, okay!! Hahaha, I love Stacy: "I am a woman of SCIENCE! Or at least that's what my horoscope says..."

Moving on, I thought I'd share some photos I took today! I went on a walk with my little bro and we saw some pretty cool sculptures and statues and stuff in this weird park. Check it out!

So to start off, meet my brother! He is adorable and awesome. <3

And here are some hipster black and white shots of him. Isn't he cute?? The people in the background are my mom and my grandpa.

And these are all some of the cool statue-sculpture thingies that I saw:

BEHOLD!! We gave this armless statue new appendages. You like?

Ohhh silly. Those were really just the arms of Monsieur C-Dawg. I can't believe you fell for that...
